Toyota releases details and photos of US version of 2019 Corolla Hatchback
Toyota has shared some information and photos of the US version of the 2019 Corolla Hatchback at the New York Auto Show. The vehicle was earlier unveiled by Toyota at the Geneva auto show, two weeks back.
With the 2019 Corolla Hatchback being included by Toyota for the New York Auto Show, it is apparent that the hatchback version of the world’s top-selling ‘Corolla’ nameplate will be available in the US in near future.
The five-door 2019 Corolla Hatchback will be the first of new-generation models of the high-volume compact sedan which Toyota plans to bring to the market next year. The vehicle is sold under ‘Toyota Auris’ brand name in Europe.
According to the information shared by Toyota, the US version of 2019 Corolla Hatchback will come standard with a 6-speed manual gearbox, and will have a 2.0-liter inline-4 powering it. The final horsepower and torque details for the vehicle have not yet been specified by the automaker.
The 2019 Corolla Hatchback will have compact exterior dimensions, with its end-to-end measurement being only 172 inches. On the inside, the vehicle will have an 8.0-inch touchscreen for infotainment, and Apple CarPlay will be a standard feature. Moreover, all the versions of the 2019 Corolla Hatchback will come with keyless ignition, USB ports, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, and automatic climate controls.
